Behind this store is Gema, a lover of literature, poetry, and books with history. This project began with her own personal collection, partly inherited from her father, who passed on to her a love of reading and the value of books as unique objects. Over time, she has expanded her library with other carefully selected collections, until this project took shape.
The bookstore opened its doors in Cabezón de la Sal (Cantabria) 10 years ago, occupying a traditional little house that is now the home of books and literary treasure seekers. Everyone who knows it understands that there is always a corner to have a coffee, browse a book, chat, and find great reads.
Now, with our online bookstore, we want to bring as many classic books and lesser-known gems to new readers, with the ease and convenience of shopping from home.
